I work on the System of Systems Design Team as an enterprise architect where my responsibilities include mapping out and designing the relationships between different structures, components and infrastructures of a multi national cross-platform system using the MODAF framework. My role includes event design and co-ordination running large derisking events for our customer that support their decision making activities for developing and supporting the sustainment of a complex system.

As Global Lead of the Graduate Sustainability Forum I headed a team of graduates that were active in identifying initiatives within our business that promoted business benefits in line with sustainability principles. The network of graduates formed a knowledge base that could transfer these lessons across the business to maximise the benefits and promote an evolution of process within the business; reducing use of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and resources, reducing waste and reducing the cost of doing business. In addition the role included responsibilities focussing on the way in which the company reported carbon emissions and how this reporting process could be improved by increasing accuracy and transparency of the information. These activities overlapped with efforts in the company to improve internal policy and guidance through maintaining a presence at DEFRA workshops to align the development of future policy. Show less
