FMEI is an economic student Institution consisting of executive student organizations at the Faculty of Economics / College of Economics in all regions of Indonesia. The series of FMEI congress on April 2019 events consisted of national speeches by H.M. Jos Soetomo and Colonel Arhanud Mohamad Jamaluddin Malik, SIP (Kasiter Korem 091 / ASN), brainstorming session by Bhima Yudhistira Adhinegara (INDEF Economist) and Ayi Supriyadi (Bank Indonesia Representative of East Kalimantan), then followed by a small discussion from the chairman forum, study forum and strategic actions (kastrat), and external forums, and ended with a large deliberation. Followed by RTL (Realisasi Tindak Lanjut) by Muhammad Yusuf S.E., M.Sc (Head of the Treasury Budget Director-General of the Ministry of Finance of the East Kalimantan KP), gala dinner, and closed with a field trip. The congress this time brought the theme "Strengthening the National Economy in Facing the Middle Income Trap as a Form of Acceleration in Economic Growth".

East Asia Student Encounter (EASE) is an annual summer seminar held with student participants from Kwansei Gakuin University and its sister university in Indonesia, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana . The purpose of the seminar is to allow students from Japan and Indonesia to join together to study Asia-Pacific and world problems, deepen mutual understanding, gain an international outlook as people of Asia, and grow into the leaders responsible for the future of both countries and international society.
