I started and led the GroupM Innovation Labs in Denmark. Innovation Labs is a concept/program that explores technologies and trends that will likely have a huge impact in the media and tech industry. Together with exceptional developer-, design-, and business students and experts within GroupM the program explores future technologies by researching, concepting and building prototypes. This is done in order to better understand the potential impact and limitations of technologies and trends. Furthermore the program must inspire clients and colleagues about what is next. The long term aim of the program is also to create new valuable products and services for our clients. My role was to set the direction in collaboration with trend/tech experts, ensure integration with our existing organization, lay the cultural foundation for collaboration (transparent, safe, fun, and fast paced), set and develop the teams, find and guide product owners, create and maintain internal and external partnerships, manage stakeholders, ensure visibility, set the Agile rhythms (Deisgn Thinking, SCRUM) and all the practicalities that follow (budget management, IT, contracts, travel, procurement etc). My role was to advise some of our biggest international clients on go to market strategies within e-commerce, prioritize activities and ensure that we were doing the right thing at the right time while taking ever-changing circumstances into consideration. For the go to market strategies I was responsible for the development of new methods/solutions for effectively gaining insights into our clients markets thus giving our clients and ourselves insight into their competitive landscape, audience attributes, and demand characteristics for their product/service categories. This set the foundation for our strategic work which of course impacted the later tactical decisions. My responsibility was also to advise on setting and refining KPI’s, choosing the right products for markets, and creating briefs (Budgets, targeting, messaging, periods etc). The bulk of the clients that I worked with were new to D2C e-commerce (and e-commerce in general) so there were many technical areas that we needed to ensure before launching their brands (campaign activities) into new markets. After the strategic work my responsibilities were to respond to the briefs thus setting the overall approach and collaborating with specialists to produce plans, road maps (PIM, tracking, data storage, reporting, check-in/performance rhythms etc), ways of working, test and learn frameworks to be used. I was also tasked to ensure that we were working on the right things at the right time. Many of our biggest clients had lots of activities going at the same time and at times it could be challenging to prioritize among these. This is where I could assist as an advisor to align on the principles for prioritizing and help our clients better prioritize their activities. Show less

As a Senior Google Ads specialist I managed accounts for some of our local and international clients. Here my role was advising our clients on budgets, content, test and learn frameworks and the use of their performance data. Create a culture of common understanding: In GroupM, and I think many large organizations, specialization is natural. However, we also discovered that many of the potential synergies were not cultivated because of this. My role therefore became to bridge the gap between specialist areas. I did this through developing a common language for things that overlap between the areas together with the specialists. This led to a path for collaborating and later several new valuable services that we could provide to our clients. Additionally it led to new processes and time saved within the departments. A big part of the job was therefore also to ensure alignment and development of our best practices in collaboration with our European colleagues. Product owner: With the many challenges and opportunities that became apparent while working with clients we were able to come up with valuable solutions to help them move forward. Some of our solutions had the potential to serve as digital products for other clients. Thus one of my responsibilities was to conceptualize and develop upon our solutions/products, roll them out in house and ensure profitability. Some of these included market insight solutions, product information enrichment, PIM filtration mechanisms, bidding algorithms, automation solutions etc. Show less

Avidly is an Inbound Marketing Agency whose primary domain is within content marketing and CRM. My role there was to advise clients (mostly B2B) on Inbound marketing, creating strategies, developing tactical roadmaps (websites, content, email automation, crm segmentation, dashboards etc), facilitating workshops and ensuring priority alignment and progress in the projects.Furthermore I took the lead on implementing scrum among colleagues and ways of working with clients. With my experience from paid search I became interested in the relationship between the insights that we can leverage through SEM to content marketing. My role was therefore also to implement best practice, evaluate bidding strategies, build structures and templates for efficient work, train specialists, write playbooks and connect SEM with our inbound marketing activities. After returning from my internship at CARE International in Laos I got a job traveling around Jutland telling about the work that CARE does in Laos and my experience there. The aim was of course to encourage the listeners to engage in developmental work either by collaborating on projects or donating. The audiences were often middle school, high school, and rotary club members. This was a great opportunity for me to become a better presenter and to create stories and presentations bespoke for that audience. Show less
