I am glad to say that have had the pleasure of working with Bengt-Ake Folkesson in a number of peacekeeping training projects while he was instructor at the Swedish Armed Forces International Center - SWEDINT - and I was at the Integrated Training Service, DPKO/UNHQ, New York. He helped us on the development of training materials for Member States, on the implementation of UN Mobile Training Teams, as well as during the findings of Peacekeeping Training Needs Assessment. His work in SWEDINT, both as an instructor and point-of-contact, was essential for convening the UN Training Recognition certification to that Center for several of its peacekeeping courses. Besides being a great person and great friend, he is a hard worker who holds deep knowledge of UN peacekeeping environment which he is always willing to share with proficiency and mastery. I would really appreciate having the opportunity to work with Ben again in the future.
