      Detroit Events Center, Detroit, MI led the Associate Architect team with HAA working initially under HKS than HOK and Streetworks Detroit Events Center Townhouses, Concept Design and Feasibility Study for 24 residential units directly west of the Event Center’s parking structure – serving the dual function of masking the 1200 car parking garage and diversifying the housing within the development and the city of Detroit Midland Center for the Arts Renovation Studies, Midland, MI – worked directly with the client to brainstorm, conceptualize and offer schematic solutions for the organizations renovation possibilities, this was an off and on project for 5 years including master planning efforts for Discovery Square DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital expansion and renovation, Detroit, MI, led HAA’s team under lead architect SmithgroupJJR we designed, developed and documented the interior architecture and design for of the emergency department ICU, radiology, pharmacy, labs, and psychiatric department DMC- Imaging Advantage Radiology Reading Center, Detroit, MI, Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, renovation of the 3rd floor of the Hutzel hospital to provide a new home to the Ronald McDonald House who’s existing home was demoed to make room for the expansion of the DMC Children’s Hospital Quicken Loans 1001 Woodward Building, Detroit, MI, 4 floors of office space and 1 floor of training rooms Quicken Loans Detroit News Building, Detroit MI, training rooms and open office in a historic Albert Kahn building Wellspring, Detroit, MI, addition to an Arts and Crafts bungalow used as an afterschool learning center, the addition tripled the size allowing up to 300 children who had been on a waiting list to participate in the learning programs offered, this was a low budget small intervention that made a great impact Show less
