  I was directly responsible for rewriting the website to use MySQL/PHP (LAMP) instead of using the existing Windows Server/ASPX. This resulted in a significant speedup in page load time as well as increased development turnaround speed. CSS3 and HTML5 were used here when appropriate. This website has a full CMS on the backend.   My tasks for Greens included a rewrite of the ASP based website into PHP/MySQL(LAMP) using Interspire as a basis. Extensive customisation of the backend was required to fit into the existing workflow including integration with thermal printers and Interlink dispatch. Maintaining PCI compliance was part of my remit here as well. The layout was changed regularly with my working from PSDs supplied by the graphic artists. HTML bulk emails were also implemented, again from the artists original PSD's. I was in charge of designing and implementing new backend facilities for improving the workflow within Greens, this included custom reports and so on. Show less

  I was responsible for updating FarangFriendly to use better layout and better user experience in ASPX. Extensive rewriting of the backend to be more responsive was also a priority including javascript based reporting and editing facilities. In addition to this I was tasked to write several vertical apps(iPhone and Android) for both data entry (used by teams of mobile data entry people) and for end user use.
