I am a Senior Developer at Scott Logic, Newcastle office. I have a wide range of development experience including native iOS mobile using Swift, cross-platform mobile using Flutter, mobile release to Play Store and App Store web frontend using React-Redux, node.js server using Express, Java server using SpringBoot, cloud including AWS CDK, Kubernetes, DynamoDB and Google Firebase, Python scripting and C# WPF. I also have lots of experience refining business requirements and ways of working and engaging with all disciplines within a project including UX designers, testers, BAs, delivery managers, technical architects and stakeholders. I particularly enjoy problem solving and developing new products, seeing them right through from proof of concepts into deployment to production. I am passionate about mentoring and engage with this in a number of ways in my role at Scott Logic including helping out with our new graduates in a range of capacities such as leading design pattern workshops, providing technical teaching or being a Scrum Master or Product Owner on an internal project.
