Executive Manager - Human Resources

In my role, I have the privilege of contributing to the Group's HR function's strategic direction, where I work alongside a talented executive team to create HR policies and procedures that make a positive impact. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, I'm grateful for the opportunity to report directly to the CEO and play a part in shaping our company's journey. I offer direct advice on policy that shapes our workforce and ensures we are at the forefront of uncommon practice in Employment Relations. My days are filled with meaningful tasks, such as providing advice on Industrial Relations, offering guidance to our dedicated line managers through training and mentorship, and ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills they need. Keeping customer service at the heart of all our endeavours is a personal commitment I hold dear. With respect to contract negotiations, I've been fortunate to contribute to conversations that benefit both our incredible team and the company. Developing rewards, recognition programs, and initiatives to foster cultural shifts have been truly rewarding experiences, as they've allowed me to witness the positive impact on our valued employees. Through my journey, I've learned the importance of leading by example and embracing change. The process of transforming our company culture has taught me that growth is a collaborative effort that thrives on the unique contributions of each team member. With heartfelt dedication, I'm excited to continue guiding our HR function with humility and a passion for helping others succeed. I have been fortunate enough to be asked to speak at National Conferences offering insights into how to raise the profile of HR to the Executive level creating lasting impacts that drive engagement and retention, all the while executing with humour, collaboration and trust. I have volunteered my time to lead and coordinate a dynamic support network for HR Managers in the Club industry along the Eastern seaboard. What began as a small support group has grown exponentially, now boasting over 100 dedicated HR Managers. In my role as the facilitator of this group, I have successfully orchestrated quarterly meetings featuring prominent industry guest speakers. Additionally, I've had the privilege of sharing my insights as a guest speaker at various prestigious industry events and conferences. Show less
