As an accomplished driller, my main daily tasks included complying with drilling parameters (weight on bit, Torque rpm, pressures and pump outputs). Also knowing & adhering to procedures, such as; type & expected life of bit, mud characteristics, bore control, ensuring their correct application. Plus, whenever deemed necessary, within specified limits, change the drilling parameters to improve drilling progress. Responsibilities: Issued safe job analysis before start-up of non-routine operations and ensures completion of risk assessments. Instructed my crew of their duties and responsibilities and of any special safety precautions to be taken. Checked and set up the equipment necessary for the assigned shift, i.e. drill pipes and other tubular material, x-over. Filled daily drilling report for the activities performed during shift describing work carried out and equipment utilised. Carried out BOP and pit level drill, in line with government authority regulations and operating company. Achievements: Drilled in the santos pre salt basin to 6500m in water depths of 2250m. Drilled the longest 26” hole section within the Lula field as a trial for up and coming well projects: from 2220m to 3580m. Wells drilled are both for production and injection. High deviation throughout the salt up to 61 degrees. Well testing on both production and injection with conventional completion packages and intelligent completion packages. Setting BOP and xmas trees with TRT/FDR on HPWHH with DPR. Drilled the “Perfect” well for Repsol/Sinopec in the campos Basin. Under budget, time and KPI. Show less

As derrickman I carried out my duties with pump / pit room, mixing chemicals for OBM and WBM systems, supervising rig crew assigned to my area. In charge of mud containment response and all maintenance and PM’s.
