Volleyball Director/Coach

Jun 2010 - Jul 2012
Driven to grow volleyball on the Southside of Atlanta, I was privileged to begin a USA Volleyball club in 2011 that merged with another local club in 2012. As a Director I was responsible for running the day-to-day operations, recruiting players, working with parents, determining costs and researching tournaments and travel for our teams, securing practice space, hiring/training coaches as well as coaching a team. Our MetroATL club had a great year and had very positive feedback from parents and players. It has now been renamed A5 South.

Head Boys & Girls Soccer Coach
-
Jul 2002 - Jun 2006
Coached the Boys Varsity team for the first 2 years and coached both Boys and Girls Varsity for the two following seasons. Each year all of my teams went through to the State Playoffs. During those four years I had a Boys team and a Girls team that finished as the 8th ranked team in the State. Responsibilities included scheduling Varsity and JV level matches, travel and practice schedule/coordination and game management/coaching. I worked with four assistant coaches to maintain high energy and competitive practices. Many of my players won All-State and All-Area recognition and went on to play in college. I also helped them through the recruiting and college selection process.
