I operate the Lowell Discovery Channel 4.3m Telescope located in Happy Jack AZ. In doing so I aid in planetary defense projects such as DART as well as the discovery and spectroscopic analysis of exoplanets, NEO, comets, asteroids and other astronomical bodies. In addition to nightly operations, calibrations and collection of scientific and engineering data, I am able to use my computer and programming knowledge to help with data analysis as well as applying my experience in the wilderness to assist with various ecological tasks due to the remote nature of the position.
