      Ben co-founded Hickman & Rose in 1991. His recent work includes:- Representing senior individuals at BAT, Olympus, Deutsche Bank, HP/Autonomy and Macmillan Publishing.- Advising News Corporation in relation to criminal allegations arising from the so-called 'phone hacking' scandal.- Representing senior individuals in the long running SFO investigation into alleged corruption at the mining group ENRC. - Winning the acquittal at criminal trial of LIBOR trader Ryan Reich and discharge by the FCA’s Regulatory Decisions Committee of Pete Koutsogiannis.- Representing Surjan Singh, the UK-based Credit Suisse trader accused by the US Department of Justice of being part of a multi-million dollar fraud.- Representing the founder of a $13 billion global private equity fund accused of racketeering and fraud.- Advising High Net Worth clients on the implications for offshore wealth of provisions in the Criminal Finances Act. - Defending clients accused of corporate manslaughter (Ben is currently acting for ITH Pharma in relation to serious health and safety offences)- Providing advice to numerous high profile individuals in relation to Operation Yewtree and ‘Me Too’ type sex offence allegations.- Advising the businessman Hans Kristian Rausing in relation to various legal matters, including allegations arising from the death of his wife - Representing the interests of sportspeople, musicians, politicians and other high profile people facing what could prove reputationally ruinous legal actions.- Preventing the extradition of various high profile clients, including the Kyrgyz businessman Maxim Bakiev.
