Operational Change Agent
-
Nov 2014 - Nov 2015
As a Change Agent supporting M&S to improve how we work up until ‘Peak’ 2015 I have several key responsibilities:• To represent the ‘Pick’ operational area. This includes helping understand what improvements are required and helping implement solutions which improve ways of working.• To design and produce communications material. This involves a range of media, for example posters, briefing documents and hand-outs (note: this is often in consultation with the communications team, seeking direction where appropriate).• To have a ‘solutions focused’ attitude, constantly striving to improve things, challenge processes which are ‘broken’ and understand how we can continually improve ways of working within the operational environment.• Liaising with representatives from all areas. This includes Heads of Department, Functional Area Managers, Team Leaders and Operatives. I am confident and articulate when talking about change and improvement activity and am now very comfortable liaising with colleagues from all levels of the business.• Supporting the Change Team Leader and Manager with ongoing initiatives as required. I am flexible and adaptable, comfortable taking on new tasks at short notice if and when required and work very well under pressure.• Documenting training requirements where change will impact on the day-to-day operation, liaising with colleagues in the training team as required.
