As Parts Manager it was my responsibility to return a profit on dealer capital invested in the parts inventory. My team and I accomplished this objective through the use of effective purchasing procedures, accurate inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising. It was also a primary responsibility to ensure that all customers were treated as individuals, with care and respect to breed loyalty to our CVM brand and our manufacturers. As a parts manager my parts obsolescence was consistently below 3% and our gross turns averaged 7 per year. Show less
