Keysoe International Security

I started a new role as security for Keysoe International Equestrian Centre under Crowdsafe UK. This job includes manning the main gate, greeting and checking in all visitors to the estate especially on event days with accreditation as well as sorting out logistics including deliveries, parking and other miscellaneous tasks such as stabling and vehicle hookups. I have also helped the centre in other ways to ensure the smooth running of operations including course building, general maintenance, manning entry/ exit gates of arenas, pole picking, assisting vets and farriers and even helping competitors with the loading and unloading of equipment, tack and horses. Since working at Keysoe, I have worked on many different events such as Showjumping, Dressage and Eventing including 2 international events (showjumping and eventing) which saw over 18+ countries compete and even hosted the Team GB Olympic team in their last competition before Tokyo 2020.

I was working as a co-ordinator within the vendor support department onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, looking after and assisting all members of crew for the Sound Storm Project, MDL Beast Festival 2021. For the first time ever, local Saudi music talent will share a stage with global EDM talent, fusing international beats with Saudi sounds to create a world class festival experience for music fans globally.This role included creating staff rota's, responding to queries face-to-face and via email, as well as researching information regarding all areas such as travel, transportation, accommodation, accreditation, welfare, entertainment and festival site related questions etc and updating the Crew Information Hub.During this role, I made sure to assist all Ginger Owl departments where necessary including the Logistics team (Visas, Flights, Ground Transport, Dispatch & Accommodation) as well as the Artist Liaison, Dressing Room & Rider teams.On the Show days for SoundStorm 2021, I worked in the Event Operations Centre (EOC) Control Room on behalf of Ginger Owl. I oversaw the Crew Logistics, Artist Logistics and Accreditation departments for the event with my colleague Lexi Birks. This was a high stress environment and we faced a lot of challenges across departments with the additions of RTCs, Royal Arrivals, Road Closures, Crowd Control Breaches etc. Ultimately we got through it all and the event went ahead without interruption to provide an enjoyable experience for all those in attendance. My role was to communicate clearly with our teams on the group via radio communication, our emergency reporting platform (HALO) and WhatsApp to best assist them. I also had to log all communications, incidences and important information on our control log (that I designed for this role), for later referral should it be required.

Remote Crew Information Hub Co-ord (Formula 1, Jeddah)

I worked remotely as a co-ordinator for Ginger Owl Productions, specially designed Crew Information Hub for the Formula 1 After-race concerts in Jeddah, KSA. The after-race concerts have quickly become a huge part of the race day schedule with International artists including DJ Snake, David Guetta, Tiesto, Jason Derulo & Justin Bieber all taking to the stage. This role included researching information to all areas such as travel, transportation, accommodation, accreditation, welfare, entertainment and event site related questions etc. I would then update the Crew Information Hub with this information to be assist and keep all crew as up-to-date along there working journey in Saudi. This platform has quickly proven its worth across the board for all crew to find information quickly and easily to ensure the smooth running of their daily schedules and ultimately the event itself.

Security Officer - HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh Funeral

It was an absolute honour to have been invited down to Windsor to work at the funeral of HRH Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. 30 members of the Royal Household were in attendance including Her Majesty the Queen, Prince of Wales, Princess Royal, Duke of York, Earl of Wessex, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex among others. We were tasked with working in the surrounding area of the Chapel, monitoring public gathering due to the nature of the event as well as the on-going Covid 19 Pandemic. The public turn out was a lot less than anticipated with only a couple thousand people arriving to pay their respects along with multiple media outlets which was expected. This lead to a well organised and respectful event overall for the Royal family to say goodbye to the much beloved Duke.
