In 1988 I joined the 220th Military Police Brigade and assisted in establishing the 400th MP Battalion, serving as the Executive Office during peacetime and as the Battalion Operations Officer when the Battalion was activated during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. From March 1992 through April 1995, I served as a Plans Officer in the 220th MP Brigade Long Range Planning Section. From May 1995 until February 1996, I was the Provost Marshal for the 97th United States Army Command. I commanded the 2nd Battalion 80th Regiment (MP TASS) from August 1996 through August 1999 and served as Deputy Commander, 220th MP Brigade from August through October 1999. I commanded the 6th Brigade (Professional Development), 80th Division (Institutional Training) located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia from November 1999 through November 2002. My final assignment was as strategic planning officer and cell leader for the ARU-CM at Edgewood Area, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
