Tim Newton
I have known Ben since 2014 and I watched his development on the waterfront from sailor to instructor and influential leader at Agamenticus Yacht Club. Most recently, he served as Program Director where he took the lead in the Club’s return to full program operations following the COVID pandemic in 2020. Ben expertly led a team of 18 instructors providing an exciting curriculum for nearly 100 sailors in the summer of 2021. His efforts included overseeing safety, program development, and fleet maintenance. Notably, Ben’s exceptional organizational skill enabled the Club to move payroll and scheduling into a simplified format in the Cloud enabling access by the Club’s Board and HR Committee, greatly reducing administrative time. I am very proud of Ben’s growth and accomplishments during his time at AYC, and I am certain his maturity and work ethic will lead him to continued success in the future.
