I had a pleasure of working together with Ben for 6 months. He joined a very dynamic team, working at a rapid pace. Very quickly, Ben was able to see a big picture, make strategic decisions, and he always knew what should the team focus on (and what not). Communication with Ben is always swift and effective, he grasps complex subjects very quickly and is able to immediately recognize key concepts and issues.

I have worked with Ben on many different projects and we’ve known each other for several years. He is a fantastic mentor at our Girls Into Coding Social Enterprise, has brought a wealth of experience, and is definitely contributing to the success of our organisation. We have also partnered together to found Green Green Technology with the aim of using robotics to reduce waste and pollution. Ben's dedicated professionalism is to the highest standard. He has an incredible breadth of knowledge, is very sharp, very accountable, and extremely reliable. He is a dream team player. He always goes the extra mile to help or solve a problem. It is an absolute pleasure to work with him. He is a beacon of calm and makes sound decisions. I could not think of a better business partner and friend! Ben is a fantastic asset within any team he would choose to work with. I would highly recommend Ben for any position he is passionate about and would go as far as saying that you would be extremely lucky to have him on board! He has skills!

We are improving automation for zero waste stores and the circular economy. The aim of our products is to reduce plastic waste by facilitating reuse. Green Green Technology produces an automatic refill station for liquids. This reduces customer fill times in zero waste stores by 75% and solves a number of other customer pain points. We exhibited our solution at the Excel Centre for Natural and Organic Products Europe in March 2022. We are currently collaborating with the amazing FILL (fillrefill.co) for store trials in three major UK cities. You can find us at the link below (www.greengreentech.co.uk)!

Technical Program Manager, and Board Observer (AgTech Robotics)
-
May 2021 - Aug 2022
As technical program manager, I headed up the management of design, testing and operations for £1m+ ‘in-greenhouse’ and ‘in-factory’ agricultural robotic systems projects through the Technology Readiness Level 1-9 ladder. We worked to deliver state-of-the-art solutions that resolved commercial pain points for commercial agricultural growers. I managed operational teams and sites, as well as customer relationships across the UK and EU. At Xihelm I was an executive team member and board observer. In this role, I was responsible for board meeting governance and execution. I also fulfiled a product owner/manager role in the agile framework - administering the product backlog, setting acceptance criteria and accepting work. As well as fulfilling management responsibility I worked as an individual contributor - especially for completing data analysis and maintaining data pipelines originating from Jira and our Robotic systems. This involved writing SQL, creating python scripts and using data visualisation packages/software.
