I was the UK Event Manager for Rough Trade Retail Group. I would programme, manage, Produce and curate a diverse range of live events across Rough Trades London (East & West), Nottingham and Bristol stores & live spaces, as well as producing Album launch events at venues such as Village Underground, XOYO, The Design Museum, The Barbican, and more. Stage-managing Rough Trade East each year. The live showcases I programme are the driving force behind breaking sales records year-on-year for the company. - Rough Trade 40th Anniversary 2016. As a freelance Event Producer and Stage Manager, I created, programmed and stage-managed the Lost In the Woods Stage for Festival No. 6, working with Broadwick Live, Ear to the Ground Production and Festival PR, Carousel. I planned, produced, prepared and managed the Lost in the Woods stage” in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. This involved: • Artist liaison, calling and emailing promoters, agents and bands, arranging and negotiating fees and budgets, preparing sched- ules and logistics, arranging travel, food and accreditation. Managing my own production team, delegating tasks and responsibilities, and overall stage management, I make sure the stage runs smoothly every year. • In 2013 we worked alongside Moshi Moshi records and 6musics Marc Riley to curate the new music line up which featured Sweet Baboo, Badly Drawn Boy, Teleman, Edgar Jones, etc. • Communicating and gaining a good rapport with the Festival No. 6 Production team. Whilst working for Rough Trade as UK Event Manager, I had the opportunity to Produce and Direct a film that celebrated Iggy Pop's 'Post Pop Depression' as Album of the Year 2016. Working with support from Hop House 13 and Norwegian Air, myself, film-maker Simon Russell and a small Miami production team documented an interview and jam with Iggy Pop and Thurston Moore at Iggy's house in Miami Florida. The film premiered in the UK with an in-store screening event at Rough Trade East, hosted by Artist Jeremy Deller. The film was premiered in France with a screening at Agnés B Headquarters in Paris, supported by Perrier. The film premiered in the US with a screening at Rough Trade NYC. Show less

Within this canal side East London Cultural Innovation Hub, we designed, sourced equipment, suppliers and décor, created a concept, and set up a brand new community event space, bar and kitchen, with multi-functional event capabilities and resources. I was responsible for a number of large T.E.N. events as site DPS and duty manager. • Working alongside Lime Wharf Directors, I assisted in event procurement, commissioning, organization and planning, duty management of staff, bar, security, artists and performers, for a wide variety of arts based events. • From collaborative workshops for organizations such as Spotify, Technology Will Save Us, Google and StinkDigital, to large scale music and entertainment events such as Sink the Pinks sold out 500 capacity Santamental gay cabaret event, 100 capacity band single launches for Flies + Flies, art exhibitions, book launches and music video shoots. • I created and managed #First Saturdays, a large monthly event with film screenings, live music and creative workshops. • Day to day management of Wharf Kitchen café, within this multi-functional cultural innovational hub on Vyner Street. The Cornerhouse is an Independent Arthouse Cinema and Art Gallery. I write, edit and produce pakages for their Podcast. This involves interviewing artists, directors and creatives, scriptwriting, audio editing with Adobe Audition and Voice Over work.
