Contributed in the successful drilling and completion operations of two exploration wells 4200m deep and two development wells in remote locations in the Tunisian desert. Supervised the implementation of one of the 1st hybrid electric/fiber optic completion worldwide deploying one electric & two fiber optic cables. Contributed in the effective execution of four workover interventions, among them a challenging job consisting in the fishing of 3300m of slick line jammed in the completion string. Above supervision duties were marked by: Complex logistic constraints due to ownership of the project being the property of a joint venture involving many players in the rig supply chain. Inspection and upgrading of one drilling and one workover rigs newly contracted by the joint venture company. Supervised company Well Integrity campaign consisting in the servicing of the wellheads and testing of the X-tree and the TRSCSSVs valves. Show less

April 2012 to May 2016: Drilling Superintendent, Working for Eni International Assignment business unit: Groupement Sonatrach Agip, Hassi Messaoud, Algeria. Being in charge of one to three onshore drilling rigs, actively contributed in the safe and cost- effective fulfillment of the performance objectives of GSA drilling operations, applying best drilling practices, risk control and mitigation approach as well as good communication with all players involved in the well operations: Focused on HSE performance, which contributed in 3 years LTI free achievement on Nov 2013 while the company was running 3 onshore rigs. Enforced best drilling practices to prevent and control mud losses, pipe sticking and wellbore stability troubles: Particularly expedient in the interbeded/problematic reservoir formations allowing the execution of all planned/required wireline logs and enabling informed decision to be taken in terms of reservoir management & production optimization. Focused on well integrity as a paramount Corporate requirement during the well drilling & completion deliverability process. Contributed in the quality control process of the material procurement and service contracts throughout the different stages of the drilling projects: Preparative tender process phase, contract quality review during well operations main phase, and learnt lessons and recommendations in the evaluation stage. Attended regularly the daily technical meeting with the technical direction staff, frequently called to represent the well operations department in the weekly management meeting as well as joint venture technical committee meetings.
