Being as I had always been apart of television production and only worked in visual mediums, becoming a radio DJ and hosting my own show became a monumental first for me. For the first time I was exposed to a live radio show, while also learning how be in charge of over an hour of open air time. I had the opportunity to play my own music, give out talking breaks, and truly express myself over airwaves. I never knew planning, producing, hosting, and DJ-ing a whole show would actually reduce my stress, but I suppose that's the magic of radio.

Being an ambassador to the Media School gave me a pretty unique viewpoint when it came to being apart of the University. Us ambassadors were responsible for giving tours to the then newly constructed Media School in Franklin Hall, we assisted in setting up events and programs in the building, sat in on panels for new and prospective students, and even helped with the production of promotional IU/IU Media School content.
