I have learned how to sell not just cars but also (what normal F & I persons at other dealerships do) I sell all of our back end products as well. Since I have started at Tom Scott Honda I have been #2 overall in units sold, and #1 in backend product penetration such as; Warranty, Gap, Pro-pack (which is a form of Etch or Scotch Gaurd), and any other products that we have been asked to sell. I have maintained close to 68% warranty penetration out of all my sales for more than 3 years; which is our highest grossing product, about 25% gap, and 15% Propack. It is also my job to pitch the interest rates from the banks as well, and I have learned a lot on how to prep a customer and direct them to wanting the products we sell; I have a formula that has been very successful for me. I have also been asked to train new hires on how to do so as well. Show less

I love to be around people and help those with a need, in this job I was able to further better my people skills and I learned how to treat and respect other human beings. In this job I had to use my sales skills to be able to attract people to want to live in my home and for their loved ones (most of the time) to allow the respective client to make the decision to move into my home. I had to also learn how to manage their daily lives to the best of their abilities. Show less

So I learned that I can sell just about anything to just about anyone. Show less

I started as an Assistant Manager, which consisted of a rigorous hiring for those fit for the job and letting go the reps that were not hitting reasonable targets. I did the area management, which consisted of looking at the demographics of the city we would be selling in and placing our teams in areas we would be most successful. I also continued selling, area management, and sales trainings in this position. One year after being with AMP Alarm I became a Co-Manager for an office that was highly successful in 2010-2011. I also kept track in Microsoft Word and Google Earth of areas we had been through and areas that still needed to be visited by our sales teams. I also hired several successful persons after becoming Assistant Manager. Show less
