Started out as a Lifeguard, but through promotions, I was able to serve as a Swim Instructor, Head Lifeguard, and then finally an Aquatics Lead. Responsibilities included maintaining pool functionality, ensuring that Aquatics Staff meet facility objectives, addressing patron concerns, communicating with facility leadership, and implementing objectives as well as schedules set forth by the Aquatics Director. Acquired Swim Instruction and Pool Operating Certifications. Served a number of roles prior to being promoted to Pool Manager, including Lifeguard and Maintenance Worker. Responsibilities included managing pool finances until transferred to superiors, scheduling, ensuring safety, and addressing problems related to patron satisfaction or behavior.
