In charge of every aspect of the winery from Harvest to bottle, including managing 3-4 employees along with interns during harvest. Bringing all of my previous cellar experience to Apolloni, I have organized the production schedule, and improved the quality of their wines. This position has given me the opportunity to learn new aspects of building wines through the use of extensive trials and winemaking products. I have found multiple ways of making top quality wines while implementing cost cutting measures, and using the equipment and facility to serve these ends. The past three years have given me further experience into other aspects of winemaking, which include preparation and organisation before and during bottling, label design, ordering all packaging, running the business side, inventory, and the ability to produce schedules and direct all service work required to bring wine to the bottle and to market. • Cellar Master
      • Aug 2007 - Jul 2010

By the end of my time there I was given most all production responsibilities in the cellar and in the lab. I spent three vintages with Andrew on wines consisting of roughly 90 tons of eastern Washington Rhone varietals, and Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. I brought my experience from more production driven facilities to a more intimate environment with a winemaker that spends a lot more time being in tune with each fermentation and each wine. My time with Andrew provided me with a one on one experience with him and the wines, and a responsibility to all aspects of winemaking along with overseeing 1-2 interns during harvest. Show less
