After competing my MA in Hispanic Language, Culture and History, I worked as a freelance translator for 8 years, taught Applied Translation at the University of Bristol and worked developing learning materials for a Spanish online learning company. I now teach Spanish and French at secondary school level, where I do everything I can to pass on my love of languages to the next generation.

Throughout my career as a professional translator, I maintained an excellent relationship with the Human Rights department of Leigh Day & Co Solicitors assisting in cases in Peru and Colombia which led to in depth knowledge and experience in the fields of human rights, geology, environment and energy supply. I translated several books for Nube Ocho, a Spanish publisher championing alternative voices, values and diversity. I have also had one translated book published by Neem Tree Press. Show less
