      The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international organization composed of Engineers, Students, and Scientist dedicated to fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The Central Tennessee Chapter and Music City Power Quality group host quarterly meetings at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville where area engineers gain access to relevant technical presentations earning continuing education hours and providing networking opportunities in which fellow engineers can collaborate to make our community a better place. As section Chair, I led the Executive Committee in organizing section activities including professional development programs, engagement with students at area University chapters, professional networking and fellowship gatherings, and engagement with other organizations and institutions in our area. In my role as secretary I worked to communicate meeting information with the membership at large, record meeting minutes for executive committee meetings, report all meeting interactions to IEEE international and participate in chapter planning through executive committee meetings.
