Led the process the day of each conversion and coordinated with Corporate Engineering on necessary updates. Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) - Determined available voltage reduction for Wilson County Substation feeders Utilizing System Analysis software and historic system load data. Provided input including correlation of peak day, time of day, temperature, and available voltage reduction for each month over the past year. Revision of Middle Tennessee Electric’s Spill Prevention Containment and Countermeasures document - conducted on several occasions to reflect system changes and comply with the most recent federal mandates pertaining to the topic Revisions took place in the fall of 2006, winter of 2008, and early 2013.   The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international organization composed of Engineers, Students, and Scientist dedicated to fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The Central Tennessee Chapter and Music City Power Quality group host quarterly meetings at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville where area engineers gain access to relevant technical presentations earning continuing education hours and providing networking opportunities in which fellow engineers can collaborate to make our community a better place. As section Chair, I led the Executive Committee in organizing section activities including professional development programs, engagement with students at area University chapters, professional networking and fellowship gatherings, and engagement with other organizations and institutions in our area. In my role as secretary I worked to communicate meeting information with the membership at large, record meeting minutes for executive committee meetings, report all meeting interactions to IEEE international and participate in chapter planning through executive committee meetings. Acted as an active participant in quarterly meetings. Served as Liason between IEEE Central Tennessee Section and Vanderbilt and Tennessee Tech. Student chapter since early 2012. Responsibilities included communicating activities among chapters and coordinating occasional joint activities.   Rotary is an organization of professionals and community leaders dedicated to serving the needs of the Murfreesboro community and communities throughout the world. As the club secretary, I've managed club records including attendance, membership records and database tracking, Rotary International reporting, and recording minutes for the board of directors meetings. Serving in the position for several years has allowed for club cohesion as new officers and board members are elected each year. Other areas of service within the organization and past areas of service include implementing and administering the club’s Facebook page, participation and coordination of service projects in the Murfreesboro area, recruiting program speakers for weekly meetings, and active member of the board of directors.
