Dr Rebecca Rees

I had the pleasure of teaching Ben in the subject ‘Organisational Behaviour’ at University of Melbourne. Ben was my highest performing student out of all my classes, and ranked 2nd overall across the entire cohort of almost 1000 students in a subject renowned as ‘very difficult’ by many. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic bringing many challenges to the semester, Ben was always punctual, highly respectful & attentive in zoom classes, and consistently demonstrated an eagerness to learn. Ben thrived at tasks involving problem solving, lateral thinking, or real world application. His communication skills were simply exemplary; whether it be facilitating small group discussions with more introverted students, or volunteering to share feedback to the entire class. Ben always spoke with consideration, poise, clarity & integrity. I believe Ben will make an excellent leader one day - irrelevant of the industry, department or role he ends up in, I believe any company would be lucky to have him. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben for a myriad of roles he may be suitable for, and I very much look forward to seeing where Ben’s career path takes him.
