  Under the leadership of Professor Chan, I am currently working on a project to synthesize a new anti-cancer drug that would serve to function as a precision therapeutic alternative to chemotherapy. The goal of the project is to use our understanding of photodynamic therapy in addition to specific biomarkers to target cancer cells associated with lung and breast tissue.
