Business Declares is a not for profit organisation. We recognise that business has a major part to play in tackling the climate and ecological crisis which we are in the midst of. We exist to raise awareness of this agenda across the business sector and most importantly, accelerate action in tackling this issue. We do this in a number of ways such as; - acting as a convenor of challenging dialogues; - taking the role as an agitator and critical business friend, to explore edgy and difficult dilemmas, - enabling the sharing of thought leadership and good practice across our member network, Ultimately we want to help drive the conditions through which it becomes mainstream that businesses fully grasp the urgency and impact of the climate, ecological and societal crisis and adopt new ways of working and business models, governed by transparent plans to address this crisis. Managing Director with full P&L accountability for Capita’s largest contract (£1.5bn, 10 year deal). I led the operation which delivers O2’s customer sales and service operations with circa 5,000 staff across 7 operating sites in 3 countries, covering voice, web chat, social media as well as self-serve channels. This operation was recognised by the Global Sourcing Association as “BPO contract of the year” in November 2016. As part of this role, I was also accountable for a £40m Digital Transformation programme investment which delivers an omni-channel service delivery for the 25 million customers of O2. Through solutions such as natural language, speech recognition and visual assistant this programme has literally changed the face of how consumers now interact with O2.
