For a young person this means guided work experience opportunities that build their employability skills, workplace skills and self-confidence. For employers, this supports their staffing needs through a long-term skill building process allows them to first test and train the young person on the job, before they start paying wages. It means that when an employer is ready to hire, a well-matched young person is already familiar and experienced in the employer’s workplace. Create XP facilitates and makes this process easier by personalising the work experience process as well as identifying and providing details of government funding opportunities available to employers.
