During summers, I helped the CASS/SEED program administered by Georgetown University and funded through USAID. It remains one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. During summers, I helped the CASS/SEED program administered by Georgetown University and funded through USAID. Audio, video and PowerPoint slides and animation were imbedded in the text to provide for a more interactive experience. Responsibilities as project director for MNN were to take the project from concept, to prototype, to launch. The main focus of the project was the delivery of Internet-type content over satellite to the healthcare industry. Additionally, I was responsible for developing and designing all the marketing material for the company and its new product. This included a detailed business plan for circulation to potential investors, an interactive demonstration CD ROM, various marketing brochures, fact sheets, press releases and an interactive website, designed to serve 56k modems, as well as high-bandwidth users. Having achieved these goals, the company is now undergoing reorganization and seeking funding in order to pursue the objectives of the business. I was also asked to write business articles on behalf of the Chamber for the American in Britain and The American Newspaper. The Chamber decided to develop its website and integrate its business information activities with the American Embassy in London and on the web in 1998. I helped establish a shared office between the Embassy and the Chamber in order to consolidate these activities and launched a new website with links to the Embassy to strengthen the mutual business information services on offer. In 1999, I helped the Chamber co-establish the Trade Advisory Council, which included some of the imminent voices in the current transatlantic business dialogue. The primary focus of the group was to assess the implications of US and UK policy trade/business initiatives and lobby as appropriate on behalf of AMCHAM members.
