I was appointed National Youth Manager (NYM) in May 2009, a full-time position at the St John Australia National Office. I joined the St John team after living in United Arab Emirates for six months with my husband Brendan. As NYM, I am responsible for the St John Ambulance Australia National Youth Portfolio. This includes developing relevant programs, products, policies and practices relating to young people, supporting the work of the Chief Cadet Officer and the National Cadet Officer’s Group, supporting the Australian Youth Council and State/Territory Youth Councils, developing policy, training and promoting child protection practices and advocacy on behalf of St John Youth.
