It is my pleasure to witness the stay of Ato Belay Habtewold with Plan international Ethiopia work in the capacity of Country Research and Evaluation Advisor in the country. During his stay with Plan International Ethiopia, Belay Habtewold effectively contributed for the quality program development (designing) and management, portfolio development, strengthening of partnership and networking, knowledge management, profiling policy advocacy strategy, and the evaluation and research guidelines in the country, and spearheaded the review of the country strategic plan. Upon discharging his roles, he was found to be one of the hardworking and high performing staffs. He was enthusiastic, passionate and curious towards his roles. He led many capacity building trainings for Plan international Ethiopia team, particularly in rolling out the global development strategy and program management process in the country. His active and meaningful participation in and contributions for the Country Extended CMT Team has also been much appreciated. He successfully managed communications with Plan international head quarter, Support Offices and with the Region of Eastern and Southern Africa, as well as with different teams in Ethiopia upon discharging his responsibilities. He diligently managed the different international and local consulting teams that have been working with Plan international Ethiopia in the areas of evaluations and researches.
