Beecher has come to feel completely at home in Lawrence and is committed to helping these, and all Interise members, succeed. She acts as a life line for Interise participants, supporting them any way they need. Beecher is a dedicated, organized team player and is able to juggle multiple tasks successfully. Her smile brightens up the room and her commitment is inspiring.

Ten months ago I was fortunate enough to get a job as an intern for Lucy's Love Bus. Immediately Beecher welcomed me into her organization and the Lucy's family with open arms. I really felt that I had become part of something so much bigger than myself. I was instantly drawn to Beecher's drive and love for life. Her excellent work ethic encouraged me to push beyond my boundaries. In the short time I've been with her and Lucy's I've learned so much and have met so many wonderful people. Beecher is one of the kindest and most compassionate women I have ever met. She is always willing to lend a hand and work closely with me when I am learning something new. She also always makes me feel that my work is valued and appreciated. Beecher has really opened my eyes and I am so fortunate that I am able to have this experience.
