Conduct main stream site analysis for the Main Store portfolio and Convenience Business units in the North and Scotland region.Generate sales forecasts for the Company to drive investment decisions for new store acquisitions, refits and store extensions.Regional Stakeholder visits for new store acquisitions with regional managers, acquisitions and store formats, providing analogue and demographic/catchment information to enable accurate, mature sales forecast, forming part of the final sales budget used to base store's overall budget.Conduct Gap Analysis investigations with recommendations.Recording of all competitor activity to assist with Company acquisition projects.Reconfiguration of the competitor impact reporting process, including re-writing reports to form a 3-stage analysis process in which to forecast accurate impacts against all Company Stores. A process which has been rolled out to each region.Design and implementation of the Competitor Impact Database live on the Company Intranet, accessed by all stores to record local competitor activity. This information is fed through to our internal database holding all national competitor information, maintained by myself.Conduct Post Investment review on all competitor impacts forecast by each region and update 'Trade Impacts' analogue database, holding all forecast and actual impacts.Providing analytical data on future competitor hits for the Disposal Manager to utilise and base disposal decisions on.Access and Excel Database design and management for main Somerfield Property database helping to assist with all Company strategic and financial business decisions at Board level.AchievementsSuccessfully implemented a new process for measuring and reporting competitor impacts, improving overall accuracy and used by Retail Finance to adjust store budgets which has an impact value of £70 million.
