    • IT Services and IT Consulting
    • 1 - 100 Employee
    • Manager of Training and Development
      • 2011 - 2017

When Neighborhood Restaurant Partners acquired Applecreek Management, I continued to provide leadership, mentorship, training and guidance to managers with a focus on achieving optimum corporate results. I customized and delivered management training programs for 52 restaurants (42 in Atlanta and 10 in San Antonio). I also supervised openings of 6 new stores in Georgia and Texas, expertly hiring and training 125+ team members for each new restaurant. These employees included managers and hourly employees (servers, hostesses, bartenders, line cooks, and preparation cooks). In corporate training programs, I implemented creative methods to make classes more engaging and entertaining. Every year, I trained 50+ managers, promoting outstanding customer service and created a positive training environment to promote corporate values and culture. By working with the Operations Team and developing ongoing Manager in Training Meetings and multi-day Leadership Conferences, I was able to most effectively develop managers and position them to succeed. When Tabletop Experience Devices (TEDs) were introduced, I implemented and led TED trainings to educate team members in all 52 restaurants. In 2011-2012, I converted the Point of Service system from Squirrel to A1 POS program. In 2015, I became a certified ServSafe instructor so that I could train 250+ managers to attain the necessary ServSafe Food and Alcohol certification. I also created, produced, and distributed a monthly corporate newsletter publication, highlighting best practices and recognizing stores with outstanding performance. Additional accomplishments included converting paper training manuals to digital technology and certifying 10+ training stores. Show less
