  At Partners in School Innovation, I manage all aspects of fund development operations through identifying, cultivating and stewarding relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals for contribution to the organization’s $6 million annual budget. As part of this, I collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and other senior leaders to secure $4.5 million in philanthropic funding annually to support program initiatives as well as general business operations. I am also currently collaborating with a cross-departmental team to support the organization’s growing and scaling efforts through the development and implementation of a marketing plan which includes storytelling, brand awareness, and effective messaging.

  At the Public Health Institute, I oversaw the development, implementation and analysis of communications, public relations and marketing strategies for award-winning media campaigns incorporating radio, television, website and social media. As part of this, I wrote and edited marketing collateral materials, led executive spokesperson training sessions, and managed staff and external contractors including public relations agencies, videographers, and photographers. During my time at Public Health Institute, I also provided extensive technical assistance and support for a statewide nutrition education program re-branding effort.

  At the California Medical Association Foundation, I organized events to include quarterly Steering Committee Meetings and community presentations given by physicians at the CA PTA Convention, CA Head Start Association Conference and the California School Nurses Organization Regional Meetings.
