Tradewater is a mission-based environmental project development company dedicated to fighting climate change by finding, collecting and destroying the most powerful greenhouse gases in the world before they are released into the atmosphere. I am leading one of the international teams that conduct this work all around the world, developing efforts in four continents. Co-founded a sustainability-focused start-up that discloses and simplifies corporate ESG data to consumers, empowering them to align their purchasing and investment decisions with their values. - Designed and implemented Impact Quest's sustainability and greenwashing rating algorithm by analyzing over 1.5k companies’ ESG self-ratings, combining with ratings from Bloomberg’s, Refinitiv Eikon, and Impaakt. The algorithm successfully produced a score by combining all ratings, on different scales to emphasize impact, as well as customizing them by the users’ preference (people, planet, or both), and further breaking down corporate action and policies to relate to the 17 SDGs. - Continued to enhance the product market fit and business strategy by researching and deriving valuable insights into environmental sustainability issues, consumer behaviour economics, and stakeholder interests, implementing solutions to these concerns with every product update. Blue Carbon Consultant

- Consulted OBF on offsetting their 2021 operational carbon emissions through blue carbon credits - Goal: help the foundation minimize their environmental footprint while investing in ocean health and local communities - Result: Successfully offset their 2021 emissions, while additionally connecting them with 13 organizations working towards the same goals for potential future collaborations. Created carbon offsetting road-map for the next three years by sourcing blue carbon credits for their immediate needs and making the connection with three pilots with potential to offset emissions in the next 2 years. Lastly, created guidelines and financial estimates for creating their own blue carbon project. - Process: Conducted market analysis to understand the blue carbon ecosystem, the mandatory and voluntary carbon markets, as well as all regional regulatory frameworks to translate them into criteria to source blue carbon projects. Found 23 potential NBS blue carbon projects through research and networking and conducted interviews to determine eligibility, fit, and additional benefits such as ocean health and community development.
