Event Sales and Marketing Manager
-
Jan 2018 - Jun 2021
As the on site Sales Manager for CH&Co Venues at The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn, I managed the sales team and coordinated both internal and external events at the venue. I looked after clients, prepared quotes and hosted show rounds of the venue, as well as finalised all details for the event itself and being there on the day. I also looked after the marketing for the venue, maximising sales as much as possible. Gray's Inn is in a fantastic location within Central London, perfect for meetings, dinners, receptions and weddings, as well as summer parties in our incredible Walks, 5 acres of beautifully kept gardens. Venue Consultant
-
Aug 2017 - Jan 2018
As part of the ITA Venues team under CH&Co I looked after the sales and coordination for events within the large venue portfolio around London. I sent initial quotes, organised and executed show rounds of the different venues and organised all relevant paperwork. I was in communication with the clients at all times to ensure all went well at their event and to secure repeat business. My main focus from August onwards was on our incredible Livery Halls and private members clubs in the City of London and Westend. Show less

Events Coordinator (one year fixed term)

Feb 2016 - Feb 2017
I organised and ran corporate events for Madame Tussauds, Sea Life London Aquarium, London Dungeon, Shrek’s Adventure London, the Riverside Rooms and the London Eye. I generated sales by providing clients formal quotes in a professional and timely manner as well as booking in venue show rounds. I also managed events looking after clients from confirmation to event completion. My strong attention to detail and friendliness ensured I provided excellent customer service while also carefully planning the many different types of events on offer. These included children's birthday parties, VIP after-hours attraction tours, private London Eye capsules with hospitality, formal dinners and standing parties at the various attractions within the Merlin portfolio. My responsibilities included booking and organising corporate functions and internal events in the aquarium. The job required strong attention to detail, time management and customer service. I organised the first ever wedding at the aquarium, Valentine's Day Dinners, Yoga mornings,Jazz evenings, film and TV show filming, children's birthday parties, corporate meetings and small receptions as well as large cocktail receptions for up to 1,200 guests. It was an incredible experience working with this events team from the opening of the aquarium and I am grateful for the opportunity to work in such a beautiful country. Show less

A great experience volunteering at the Olympic Games. I worked in event services assisting spectators in the Woolwich venue for the Shooting. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am glad I could help represent our country. A great experience volunteering at the Olympic Games. I worked in the maze for a whole summer during a break in my studies at university. It was a great life experience as I went over to the USA alone, met great friends and had an amazing time.
