Leading on building out our Legal and Compliance function as we rapidly expand in size, I am the sole owner of all legal and compliance matters across the company. I work with stakeholders across the entire business, and work directly with the Senior Leadership Team, reporting into the CEO. My work includes: ・Review of all contracts for all aspects of the business, including negotiation with the other side when needed・Ensuring compliance across our operations teams, including auditing and developing new processes・Leading on our EMI share options scheme including issuance, exercising, disqualifying events, relevant HMRC and Companies House filings (Annual return, notifications, SH01s etc)・Advising internally on employment law matters ・Researching other legal points as they may occur such as IP and trademarking issues, both in the UK and Internationally.・Company Secretary responsibilities such as company filings・Developing and delivering training to teams across the business on compliance and policy matter such as safeguarding
