At Koreman Verlichting I had many tasks. My main responsibility was making CAD drawings for various projects and products. This meant designing new products as well as making parts for existing products, such as mounting brackets. When designing these products it was important to account for the producibility and the cost. This taught me a lot about working with different manufacturing techniques, such as extrusions, sheet metal folding, laser cutting, and 3d printing. I was also responsible the production of the products, and the technical documentation for CE marking. Show less

During this internship, together with another student , we were tasked to build an engine test rig for the engine of a drone. This drone was going to be used at heights at which it had not been used before and the preformance of the engine at these heights was unknown. The test rig was meant to measure engine preformance while simulating the conditions at the heights the drone would be flying at.
