Working within the food manufacturing environment focussing strongly on the reduction of energy and water consumption throughout the site through process improvements and new designs. Played a key role in planning, design and commissioning of new liquid stock line within the foods factory in a project worth over $1M.Managed multiple energy saving projects resulting in over $120K of savings through reduction in steam and water consumption throughout the site.Responsible for maintenance and upgrades of utilities equipment on site including preparation of specifications and drawings, creation of purchase orders for goods and services and management of contractors and maintenance staff. Played a key role in increasing awareness of utility losses on site through daily reporting on utility consumption throughout the site.Led Focused Improvement pillar using WCM methodology focusing on multiple projects such as minimising downtime due to product blockage within dry foods factory and minimising product dumps and waste due to cap jams within Lipton Iced tea filling machine.Led energy audits within the site and liaised with external auditors as key point of contact within the factory.
