I completed three separate six-month rotations while in this role in various departments within Workplace Financial Services. I began as a Specialist in Participant Services where I received in-bound calls from participants of Schwab Retirement Plan Services' plans. I answered questions; assisted with distributions, enrollment, and other account changes; and provided general financial education including budgeting, debt management, and future expense planning. My second rotation I was a Specialist on the Field Integration Team. On this team I did work as a project manager in which I partnered with my teammates to manage large-scale projects that spanned many groups in the organization. I also worked on a project to develop a tracking system for our real estate footprint across portions of the organizations. My final rotation was as a Specialist in the Internal Control and Risk Management team. During this rotation I assisted with fraud monitoring and prevention activities and co-lead a risk assessment to improve controls for specific processes.
