  I am currently involved in designing FTTx networks using guidelines that are approved by M.O.T and the consultant K&A:My tasks are :1- Planning and designing FTTx networks on 3-GIS / AutoCad referring to surveyors data.2 - Preparing the schematics that reflects the design.3 - Preparing the required reports that summarize the design ( BOM, BOQ,...).4 - Validate the technicians work and solve field problems if they exist.   I was involved in the FTTC/FTTH design projects that aims to turn lebanon copper network into fiber network, I handled the design for Zahleh,Batroun and Moukhtara where my first assessment was to collect data from the subcontractors (PowerTech, BMB and Serta) and create sub-ducts in cost wise manner using 3-GIS online platform to ensure proper installation in addition to protection of fiber cables underground (for Batroun and Zahleh and Moukhtara, after subducting I had to do the association process which consist of planting the needed fiber cables in the created sub-ducts, after this step we went to ogero to do some troubleshooting because and correcting some design errors(Red and Black Dots) using the ARC-gis platform to ensure that the design is approximately perfect among Manholes and Handholes, after this step we ensure that all the connections and all networks are completely linked to fiber equipments( FDB, PB,...) and then we print the schematics to get the approvement of the design from Khatib and Alami(K&A)
