PhD student at the graduate program of the Pequeno Príncipe Faculty, guided by Professor PhD MD Katherine A. T. de Carvalho in the project entitled "Evaluation of the cytotoxicity of the L-DOPA and Curcumin-loaded nanoparticles", this project gave me the oportunity to achieve excellence at the cell culture technique of cell lines and primary cultures, i.e. mesenchymal stem cells. This project also provided in vivo studies using the Parkinson's Disease animal model. PhD student at the graduate program of the Pequeno Príncipe Faculty, guided by Professor PhD MD Katherine A. Lab intern (scientific initiation)
-
Jun 2010 - Dec 2011
As a lab intern (scientific initiation), was bestowed on me the original research project entitle "Identification of the immunophenotypic profile of the bone-marrow mononuclear cells in ovariectomized and/or thyroidectomized rats", that culminated with my Biology degree at the Federal University of Paraná. I had the oportunity to learn the good laboratory practices, the isolation of rat bone-marrow blood, isolation of mononuclear cells, flow cytometry analisys and in vivo surgical procedures. The results were published in international scientific journal entitle "Bone Marrow-Derived Stem Cell Populations Are Differentially Regulated by Thyroid or/and Ovarian Hormone Loss". Show less
