-Worked at all the business units of the organisation and received various training / workshops from different engineers from different units of the firm. -Recommendation of catalyst based on the plant's process and conditions. -To have knowledge of all the catalyst with all their characteristics and parameters. -Perform task on loading catalyst in a primary reformer in a pilot (mock) ammonia plant and the jobs undertaken by an engineer in the CBU. -Perform simulation on a primary reformer using ASPEN HYSYS to study the effect of different parameters on the outlet ammonia concentration. -Perform comparison study on the different functions and vendors of ammonia convectors and select the best based on certain parameters. -Simulation of a primary reformer using a ASPEN HYSYS to study the effect various parameters (like Temperature, Pressure and Concentration) on Methane (CH4) slippage. -Perform Data Evaluation for the client and prepare a technical report suggesting the recommended areas of improvisation based on the client's current plant performance. -Familiarize with the WSA Technology and SNOx management by EBU engineer. -Attended short seminars / workshops on Reactor interns and various refinery related problems like Pressure drop control, Technology to improve diesel yields and quality in hydrocracking configuration by the RBU. -A brief workshop on ammonia plant and the function of all the upstream and downstream process, along with optimization of process parameters were undertaken, supervised by the CBU engineer.

-Received in depth knowledge on DCS (Distributed Control System) and the other Industrial Automation processes. -Worked at the Process Solution Center under the PIMS department. -Simulated simple exercises (which involve dynamic simulation) using Visual Modeler. -Attended a 3 day workshop by the DCS expert on "Industrial Automation and DCS", and in dept information of various troubleshooting methods and instruments such Rotameters and Sensors were learned. -Reading and Interpreting P&ID's from various clients and understanding different plant processes. -Learned the Dyanamic Simulation Software Yokogawa Omegaland SImulator (VM Modeler) and carried out various simulation from single stage flash drum to multistage separators. -Familiarize with all the units in the plant from the DCS interface. -Created more than 50 graphics and process units that were to be sent for the overseas clients with process description, tags and instruments parameters attached. -Learned and Interpret the Real Time Data Base (RTDB) graphics used by companies for storing Plant Data using the software.
