I had the pleasure of working alongside Bas during ‘my time’ at Energyst. At that time, Bas was faced with a fast global expansion of the company for which he managed the finances with creativity, a sound risk awareness level and great ability to adopt to changing circumstances and various laws and regulations, both legal and fiscal. Besides the content, Bas is a great person to work with and has a good sense of humor.

During my tenure at Energyst, I've had the privilege of having Bas in my teams, where he showed, time and again, to be one of the smartest, most creative and most adaptable persons I've worked with. In spite of working within a thin, geographically-distributed structure, encompassing a multitude of cultures, languages and local challenges, Bas always came through and delivered. No matter if the mission was to find a risk management strategy to allow us to enter a difficult market, to create the financial planning to enable our growth, or to sit in meetings with clients to help the sales force close the deal, Bas used his business acumen, people skills and deep financial knowledge to find a way to get the job done. Needless to say, I recommend Bas without any reservations.
