Working as part of a team, I observed at first the hand spirit of the Libyan Revolution. This experience developed my diplomacy, communication skills and my ability to employ mediation skills, when directly engaging with NTC members in political debates about current transitional issues and the theoretical and structural components of Libyan politics. The media unit was responsible for the NTC council's media relations. We liaised with the international community to provide co-ordination support systems, that is, a bridge between foreign media and NTC members. I participated in the Media monitoring team responsible for creating a large database [of what?] which was shared with the foreign media on a daily basis. I was responsible for monitoring all social outlets such as Facebook, Twitter and My Space), and for monitoring statements released by regime spokespersons. I analyzed messages broadcast by the regime propaganda machines. I closely monitoredNATO strikes geographically and the public’s reaction to those strikes statistically. The team responded to any media enquiries. I/the team? issued all NTC news releases and press statements. Show less
