My main achievement at Mercy Corps was that I introduced the Built Operate Lease and Transfer the ownership (BOLTO – Pay-as-you-go) system of renewable energy, which now is one of their global pillars of Mercy Corps. As Program Manager, I was responsible to manage different programs such as Renewable Energy program, stabilization program aiming to construct schools, clinics, and WASH facilities, women economic empowerment program aiming to simulate micro-businesses and home-based businesses, and vocational training programs (these programs include tailoring work training, solar PV repair and installation training, construction work training, poultry classes). I was responsible for quality control, design finalization of solar PV systems, projects planning, curriculum finalization, coordination with external and internal stakeholders, activity planning, oversee and discuss performance of staff to support them to improve and capacitate their skills, reporting to donor and budget analysis of program activities. • Infrastructure and Renewable Energy engineer and Auto CAD Specialist
      • Mar 2013 - May 2018

I was responsible for building rreliable eenergy ssources, WASH and AWAL- agricultural programs. Moreover, I was responsible for designing solar PV systems from 1 kWp to 60 kWp for households, clinics, school buildings and small business. In WASH programs I designed emergency washrooms, lightings systems and solar Photo-Voltaic system for elevated water tanks for Internally Displaced People camps. For the Aagriculturee program I introduced Pre-cast Reinforced Cement Concrete column trellis tree gardens ( Grapes trees are supported vertically by concertina wires and concrete columns to increase temperature change, avoid diseases and decrease earth heat effect on trees) which were implemented in Kandahar and Helmand provinces ( these two provinces are located in south of Afghanistan with dry climatic condition in which summer is extensively hot, this newly introduced system for grape trees will help to minimize the effect ground temperature and have better ventilation) . In addition, I was responsible for designing green houses, high and low green tunnels and modern resin drying houses ( Glasshouses, built to protect off season vegetables from outside gold weather condition) . I have learnt design implementation to ground and their challenges, site and labor management, strengthening communication with locals and load assessment and design of solar PV system. Show less
