As a Senior Realisation Engineer for Hexacom I am mainly responsible for implementing new Siemens PBX Systems. This also involves upgrading and enhancing existing systems and migrating them to the newest technologies.As of end 2012 I have a 2nd jobrole as a Project Manager in order to support our teamleader to quickly handle all new PO's.At present I'm in charge of creating a vendor-neutral Network Fundamentals course and giving it to my collegues. Telenet Install Engineer During my time at Simac 3Services I started out as a normal Install Engineer. This involved installing CPE to access The digital Services of Telenet (Telephony, Internet and Interactive Digital Television) for individuals. In this function I have trained about 10 Engineers who started out and afaik most of them are still valued employees for Telenet Subcontractors. Telenet Solutions Repair Engineer After a brief period I've been asked to form a team with 5 others to take over the Telenet Solutions interventions On-Site. This was at first done by Telenet SWAT Repair. They gave us a thorough training-program (ISDN , Cisco ICND, IP, HFC, ATM , xDSL....) and guided interventions to learn the ropes on how to take on a B2B Repair Intervention. During this fase of my employment at Simac I worked with following products : Cisco 8xx Series Routers Cisco 16xx Series Routers Cisco 18xx Series Routers Cisco Access Points (With or without Controller) PoE Injectors / Switches All brands of basic xDSL Modems (Sagem, Alcatel, Phillips, ...) and offcourse every type of cabling for these connections (Twisted pair / Coax)
